| Antigua, the largest of the English-speaking Leeward Islands, is about 14 miles long and 11 miles wide, encompassing 108 square miles. Its highest point is Boggy Peak (1319 ft.), located in the southwestern corner of the island. Barbuda, a flat coral island with an area of only 68 square miles, lies approximately 30 miles due north.

I am planning to do a lot of snorkeling during the cruise to Antigua and Barbados this June. Please recommend best beaches for snorkeling near the cruise ship port.
Places I am visiting: Antigua, Barbados, St Lucia, St Martin, St Thomas.

Hey there are about 365 beaches on the island. The ones near to the port are Fort James, Runnaway bay, Galley bay and Hawsbill. Those are few. It's a very beautiful country. Tell you more soon. Nicky Antigua & Barbuda. |

To answer your question of snorkeling in St. Lucia, the best place is Anse Chasnet. It's not close to the ships port but you still have enough time to go, relax and snorkel and get back to the boat in time. |

The best place to visit for snorkeling that is close to the cruise ship port is grand sandals resort which is in Dickenson Bay which is about 10 mins drive from the port. it also has a very nice pearly white sand beach where u can go for a swim |

Try SNEAKY PETE'S on Dickenson Bay for snorkelling. It is about 10-15 minutes drive from the cruise ship port.
It is also one of the best beaches on the island |
