When did you visit Cambodia? Did you stay for a long time? I heard about some volunteer programs there and I would like to try mu luck. However they warned me about it being kind of dangerous to live in. Especially for foreign people. Is that true? |

Hi Olivia
I have lived and worked for 7 years in Vietnam and Cambodia as tour guide. These days Cambodia is relatively safe. Obviously in some of the rural area's or late night in big cities there can be problems.
Good Volunteer programs have the safety of volunteers at the forefront of any planning or program. So pick a good program and go for it!
Common Sense is all you need! Cambodia is an amazing place and the people are wonderful!
