| We spent three weeks on the Cook Islands: altogether 9 days on Rarotonga, 7 on Aitutaki and 5 on Atiu. The Cook Islands were definitely a highlight in our trip and those Pacific Islands that matched our ideas of the South Seas.

| Such crossings are not uncommon in the Northern Areas of Pakistan. Planks are set about 50 cm appart and the bridge swings with the wind over a glacial, fast flowing river

| Bolivia definitely deserves to be discovered. It can be sometimes challenging, because of transports and the high altitude, but it is definitely fabulously rewarding!

| In April 2008, I have spent two weeks in Japan with my 15 years old daughter. We spent one week in Tokyo, then we comute to Kyoto in Shinkansen to spend the second week there. Japan is really a country of contrasts and I hope that by discovering these photographs you will have only one desire, to go there you too.

| This photo is of the Rocinha Favela, in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. In some ways Rio is like a miniature Latin America; there is natural beauty along side grinding poverty while happy and energetic people live within a sea of violence.
